Wednesday chaingang from Butlers & Coulsdon

I know all this training business makes us sound a bit serious but, well, some people really are into this bike lark so feel free to talk about all training & self improvement related topics in here

[quote]Ok so this wednesday

7.00 GBs
7.15 CSS
7.55 Turn back!
8.35 Back at CSS
8.50 Back at GBs

I will lead the group out from gb's at 7pm this wednesday

we will meet up at 6.50 for a prompt departure at 7pm to meet up with the css country bumpkins at 7.15

this will be a fast paced chaingang but we won't drop anyone, the stronger riders can take more turns on the front and if you need a rest you can stay in the slipstream.

cheers George

Is it worth mentioning that everyone should be lit up like Christmas trees as it's going to be dark and we don't want to get run over?

Yes Rob Lights and colourful clothing are essential for the safety of all in the chaingang.

It is important to me as I will be off the back at hooley!

Hi Guys

I will come along provided I can get to CSS in time (don't wait for me!!)

Double edged sword really as I need to ride home reasonably briskly to make it on time but don't want to go too quick as there is no point in me coming if i get dropped 15 mins into the ride.

Just out of interest how quick do you all expect the ride to be??

I would not worry too much the stronger riders will do all the work at the front and if you can't keep up you can just turn round and wait for them to come past again!

I have only been out twice in a month so I won't last very long but I want to get out and give it a go even if it is for only a mile.
