You would absolutely love the place Sylv.

The strangest thing I found Adam was that because the banking is so steep when you ride up it as you enter a bend it seems like you're just going to ride up and over the top as the track wall blends in with the bank.

Apparently the bends at Calshot are no steeper than the bends at Newport or Manchester.

And that, so I'm told is the problem!

Basically those Calshot bends aren't steep enough for the radius of the bend. Meaning it's so much harder to ride around there fast, than it is compared to Newport or Manchester... The radius being less due to it being 'chopped' down to fit inside the building there. The advantage to Calshot over Manchester or Newport is that, apparently, it is a grippier (is that a word?) track, meaning you can ride round the bends much slower than at other indoor tracks...

Anyhow, big respect for the sprinters who can sprint around those bends wherever they are!!
