Great ride this morning, the weather turned out to be a bit damper than expected but it wasn't heavy and just made things a bit more interesting.
I joined Doug at the Volunteer pub near Holmbury St Mary for an early hour before meeting up with Grahame and Colin at Peaslake.
Holmbury Hill was the order of the day, including a few repeat runs on Yoghurt Pots. Doug was starting off a bit nervous of what to expect on the wet ground but he needn't have worried, the skills course he got recently has worked wonders (
http://www.astoundingadventures.co.uk). There was steady progression throughout the day, climbing over all the roots and finishing the day with clean run through Yoghurt Pots and then Telegraph Road.
Doug and myslef finished at 12 with sandwich at the Volunteer while Grahame and Colin carried back to Peaslake.
