Stolen bikes!

Postby PeteS » Sat Mar 20, 2010 11:13 am

Hi everyone. can you keep an eye out for my bikes please? I went up to my workshop at the top of my garden this morning to get my bike for the clubrun only to find some nice people have taken a pane of glass out of the door and have stolen 4 bikes. They've cherry picked the easy to sell things and have taken two Specialized Rockhopper mountain bikes one red, one black, a yellow Trek 1000 (my son's ), and my lovely old red Condor Squadra with Kysrium wheels. They even took the Zefal pump off my winter bike (which they left) and went through my tool bag and have taken my multi-tool. Needless to say, if you could keep an eye open I'd be grateful. Thanks.

Pete, so sorry to hear about the theft.

Sounds like they knew what they were looking for, taking even the Zefal pump

Hope to hear that you have recovered them in the near future

Sorry to hear that. Check eBay and gumtree. Also might be worth nipping up to Brick Lane - I think they still have the Sunday morning bike sale where apparently a lot of nicked kit gets unloaded

Really sorry to hear this Pete

I will certainky keep an eye out.
I was just reading this and wondered if there could be a connection between this post and your last one.

Missed you on the alternative today, luckily enough riders knew enough parts of the various routes and managed to cobblwe something together. But certainly missed your encyclapedic knowledge of the lanes,

Hope you make it next week.

Pete, also put separate posts under Stolen Bikes on the www.bikeradar.com website as it has a wider audience.
