Etape De la Defonce (w'kend stage RR for 3&4cats))

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Etape De la Defonce (w'kend stage RR for 3&4cats))

Ok so who's got a Saturday and Sunday (12th & 13th) available in the second weekend in June this year. The Etape De La Defonce apparently received more votes than L'veulta as one of the best stage races by Cycling Weekly readers in 2009. From what I can gather it features and individual TT, a rolling stage race on the first day and a hilly stage on the 2nd day. A great introduction to stage racing for newbie; its not as hard as the Ras 5 day stage race and you won't have to take too much time off work. The cost per four man team is £144 or £36 per man.

Nice one Dave. Is that 54min PB ever gonna be beaten? Please tell me the Surrey League don't send teams out in those kits any more
