Anyone interested in going for an Addiscombe Xmas night out in early December? Maybe in south Croydon? To get the ball rolling I propose Bar Rendezvous, Sat 10th Dec at 8pm.

I can't make it Dec 9th or 16th-19th. Apart from that, I don't mind when. We could of course make it mid-week, maybe Thursday 8th or 15th.

Dave - this is a tippy top idea mate. Unfortunately at 8pm on the 10th - I shall be on the London Eye with my superior half enjoying the final leg of my birthday - which I have manged to string out over a month - yeehar! I will keep a watchful eye out for the final agreed date in the hope that it ain't the 10th.

I can make the 8th - I reckon Bar R is a good venue as it serves Thai food but there's plenty of good eateries around there for anyone wanting to pack on a few extra winter pounds

David has said "the 8th it is then" but Seans email has confirmed the 10th!

Fear not Huw -its a 3 dayer, i know you can do it.
I am up for it, 3 days intensive training went on this week in prep for it while i was away on a course (!) in leceister. Got an 8 hour shift in on tues night :shock:

, class was a bit hard going afterwards tho after only a few hours kip.

Whatever the date where abouts in Croydon is Bar Rendevous. Im assuming it's in Croydon. Where else would still have a place with a name like that. Sounds like a dodgey 80's wine bar. If its a Thursday I'll try and make it.

Bar R (rendezvous) is a about 500 yards south of Geoffrey Butlers on the same side of the road - opposite a pub called the Tree House. It's a good place- about as far from being a dodgy wine bar as is possible. Good Thai food on sale at low prices. The date seems to be set as Thursday 8th. Any other takers?
