expected lights, a flag possibly an air horn but all we got was, "right, off you go lads." Wow, the glamour of bike racing.

It was a fantastic experience and one I will definitely be repeating.

Great write up Dan. Hurry up and write the next one.
I did the club RR at Hilingdon in September and although lapped a few times finished not quite last as some dropped out. But was such a great feeling so know how you feel. May not be good as that but comes close. What the he'll it is better.

As Toks says this will inspire others to get out there.

Oh and always thought you were a Chelsea fan as your pic states. Now that you have revealed your true colours I no longer hate you

Marcus, Chelsea??!! Please don't swear at me again! My profile pic is from a charity football dinner I went to, i'm deffo not Chelsea or West Ham for that matter. I should replace it really with a pic of the more streamlined Dan 2010......

Great report Dan. Well done for dipping your toe, it will get easier if only as you now know what to expect, although as the saying goes, it doesn't hurt less you just go faster .
