My jaunt to the Isle of Wight to do the Vectis Festival (3 TTs over the May Bank holiday) has been cancelled . They have had to cancel the Festival as they were unable to find suitable courses after the originals have had to be scrapped due to the state of the roads after winter, they all started going up the Military Road which has collapsed and is down to one lane with traffic lights controlling it, and a lot of the others are too pot-holed or narrow and twisty. I'm gutted as I was really looking forward to this , hopefully it'll be back next year.

Checked the handbook and can't see anything else that jumps out that weekend so looks like I'll be planning some rides then.

That's a shame. I was going to suggest the ECCA festival as an alternative, but they have non-standard closing dates and it's too late now.

I did see that and was going to ask questions about which bits of my hated road they use but then spotted the dates.
