Disaponted it is the last one or the result?
I'm new to cycling, cycle racing etc and found it enthralling. My daughter enjoyed th beginning the middle and the end.
So well both be disapointed.

Sean
Mmm.. surprised Marco hasn't said anything yet  Maybe it was all those years (age 3-15) of being 'forced' by my lovely mum to attend Camden Road Baptist and listen to sermon after sermon about being a forgiving Christian. If what he says in the link below is generally true, then I'm happy to forgive him just like I did Millar. He won 'fair and square' - it's cool with me

I Would be very suprised if he was clean. Aside from the fact that he has shown no contrition.
If you look at other riders that have come back and shown remorse for previous doping infractions, they've been a shadow of their former doped-selves: Basso and Millar are not what they were.

Vino comes back and in a few months wins arguably the toughest classic.
Hmmm....

Vino of course mentions the tests that he has been quite rightly subject and of course passes. He also mentions the bioligical passport. To those that know more than me would this have picked up his last offence, if it had been in place at the time?

[quote]Its a bit of a mess at the moment which is a great shame.

I would argue that it's always been a bit of a mess. It's just that in the last few years we (the fans) have become less tolerant of the mess.

I enjoyed the banter @ the Lindfield Social club while the race was on. The race kind of got in the way, though it did give us a reason to get together for a few laughs. Pro cycling my ar5e!

Some very good opinions on that link above

This quote is attributed to Greg Lemond from July 99.

"I don't think there's a rider in the peloton [pack] that prefers to take drugs," former Tour de France winner Greg Lemond told Bicyclist Online. "It's simply what [they're] doing to keep up with competition, and if they think everyone's getting away with it, they feel like they need to use it, too. Half of these guys haven't finished high school, have a wife and three kids at home, and if they don't perform, they won't get paid."

This link was posted about micro dosing, I also doubt he woke up one day and new where to go, what to take etc.

So that makes it ok?

I've been in Belgium for 6 weeks, and already I know that when a race has a doping control advertised prior to the race, not only is the race a hell of a lot easier, the field is usually half the size.

And this is at sh1t lowest of the low amateur level. How do you think that makes me feel when I get up in the morning and have 6 hours training with intervals!?
