Has anyone read it yet?

[quote]Team Sky rider Michael Barry and photographer Camille J McMillan will be in Clerkenwell for the launch of their new book, Le Métier, detailing a year in the life of a professional cyclist.

Barry’s poignant prose and McMillan’s atmospheric photography create a volume that gives the reader a rare glance into the trials, tribulations – and triumphs – of a cycling domestique.

McMillan trailed childhood friend Barry throughout the 2009 season, from Spanish winter training rides to the World Championships in Mendrisio, capturing memorable images to accompany the Canadian’s insightful writing.

I had a look through it in the Rapha Club shop thingy a couple of weeks ago. It looked pretty good!

I have the book in question, not the Ltd Ed one though, and I have to say it's very engrossing. Definitely for someone who has an eye for detail as the photography is excellent. Some gritty bits in there photos and stories, Barry's writing I find is quite good (if there's anyone who's read his blog?).
