How about, if we turn up on Saturday and it's sh*te we do something else, like a shorter ride? We can then decide which day we'd like to retry the ride (I can't do Sunday as I've promised to go to lunch with my parents :(

Things always crawl out of the woodwork or in this case a rock when the weather gets better

I'm out on Monday and will be going down to Shoreham. Meet CSS 9:30.
Pace will be that of the slowest rider (probably me) but be prepared for 5+ hours on the bike. Cafe stop either Shoreham Airport, or if nice by the beach.
I amnot going over Ditchling, but bring crampons!!!

The first of the Brighton Mitre Hill Climb hills  , can't remember its name but it's a nasty one. At least I don't have to race up it this time.

Paul, is it still on for tomorrow's ride to Shoreham?
I might come if I can get some rest tonight, anyone else joining?
