I want a 19'

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

I want a 19'

19 minute 10 mile TT that is, with a bit of help I believe I can do it.

Just writing down a goal as I've been told they are easier to achieve then

George - what kind of help do you need? If it's encouragement you're after then look no further. Good luck in your endeavours, I know you can do it. 8)

Good luck with it George. It will need a combination of top form, right course and right day. If you look at the time trialling forum (which I know you do), have a look at UK Gearmuncher's training and targets. He has been basing this season and last on getting a 19.

It looks like quite a frustrating target to chase but I am sure you can do it 8)

I wasn't too impressed by Levens, although Wiggins & Viney seemed to like it.

I'd recommend the F20/10 or V718; those are the only two courses I've gone under 21 minutes on. Let us know when you're planning on doing your 19 so we can enter a team and get the club team record.

Find an HGV to draft that doesn't go more that 45 mph like I did the other week on the A217.... :D

Having two people on the bike's cheating :D .

F20/10 on 3rd July is the Whitewebbs CC event, date of when the Crabwood 10 was going to tempt us all to the P613 but may be a no go by then with the proposed course closure due to traffic lights.
Not that I'd be in for the team record but how do other testers feel about a bit of road trip?

Jon, do you think I'd get in or do they have 21 or similarly fast closes on this course?

I think you'd stand a good chance of getting in. There are a couple of other events on the same day (Charlotteville 25 and Shaftesbury 50) which will attract big fields from the catchment area for this one. Also a lot of people are put off by it being a Saturday evening. I was planning on doing the 50, with the 25 as an alternative if the 50s I'm doing in May/June go well, but I could be persuaded to do this 10 instead.
