[quote="Dan_K"]Working for local government, it was some of my colleagues manning the stations and having to put up with this kind of rubbish from the general public.
Same old, lazy people kicking up a fuss and shifting the blame onto someone else. Pretty much the problem with this country as a whole!!!

I have no idea what you are talking about. So, in the best traditions of the internets, here is a picture of a bunny with a pancake on its head

Breaking news...

Lembit Opik's fiancee, the Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia, says she is sad to hear he has lost his seat. She says his job was "his life".

My view exactly. If it's that important to people that they have to kick up a fuss when the stations close, why can't they get off their backsides and get down there early or vote by post.
Working for local government, it was some of my colleagues manning the stations and having to put up with this kind of rubbish from the general public.

Jesus wept, guys!!!     Had you thought that they work, have a job, commute?? I get into work at 7.30 and get home at 7.30.There are millions like me. Last night was bad for democracy. A disgrace. People queued for hours. Some polling stations ran out of ballot papers.People were angry and had a right to be angry. I would have been.

And to be more inflamatory, these are people who probably work, pay their taxes and contribute to this country.

Although there was the postal vote

Running out of ballot papers is pretty embarrasing. But not as embarrasing as when I ran out of toilet paper in my hotel room recently and had to phone reception for some more. I'm sure the receptionist found it hilarious...

I heard that it was students who were actually to blame for delays at polling stations.... Kindof re-inforces my view that students should not actually be allowed to vote at all. In fact, this one-person one-vote system is clearly wrong. Special people with clear, incisive judgement like mine should get more votes. Some of you guys are pretty special too so you could have extra votes - but not as many as me, of course....

I like dictatorships too. I have been practising my dictatoring skills at home, to varying degrees of success, for when the revolution comes . On this day the first rule will be only normal people can vote.
In fact my daughters teeth are starting to fall out and I have been using this opportunity tell explain Socialism . ie the toothfairy is on strike for the foreseeable future and won't work due to wage demands dressed up as health and safety. Its caused minor upsets but I think it will be worth it in the end.
