Just Steve Davies and myself at the Bentley bypass on Sat p.m. Weather was cold, wet and miserable and didn`t lend itself to a fast time. Still Tony Gibb didn`t have any problems posting a mid 20 something.

25.14 for me. I don`t think my mind was on it as I got soaked before the start, only a drizzle during the race, but a keen wind on return leg.

24.22 for Steve, who wasn`t up to his usual self (Steve usually puts about 2mins into me). We are both back at the same venue next week. Hoping for a better outcome.

Horrible day.

Perhaps the most impressive performance of the day was Julia Shaw's 21:11 which put her in 4th place (I think) just 5 seconds behind Richard Prebble!
