A massive favour to ask...

Postby -Adam- » Tue May 11, 2010 11:11 pm

In two weekends time, I'm riding the SERRL Spring Stage Race, which begins with a 10 mile TT.

Now I have a TT frame, but I don't have any wheels... would anyone be willing to lend me some fast wheels for the day? Obviously I will be liable to any damage or punctures, but I promise to take good care!

I'm sure I could bring back an array of unheard of Belgian beer to anyone willing to help. The date I will need them is the 29th May.

Ideally I would like a rear disc and some kind of super deep front wheel...

All help gratefully received! Some fast wheels could make all the difference to my race...

George! I may well take you up on the offer. Do you not need them that day?

How would we arrange collection and giving back etc?

Cheers, Ad

Have heard good reports on Xentis wheels.

If we all come up with offers of wheels, Adam's going to have to buy an awful lot of beer

Planet-X 82mm front available if you want it Adam.

Adam we can hook up the Thursday or friday before.

If you don't have any wheels to lend to Adam, there is an excellent selection of Belgian beers at Nelson Wines, Merton High Street. [And no, I'm not on a commission. Sadly.]
