18 Marcus Levy 32.20 8.00 24.20 23
19 Paul Finch 26.38 ? 22

THESE ARE PROVISIONAL AS I DON'T HAVE PAUL FINCH'S HC. Everything could change. That said, again extremely close results with seconds splitting most of the field. Don't forget with the Handicap 1st, 2nd and 3rd places get medals :D :D :D

ROUND 1 Women's and Junior's Results

Postby Jon C C on a Bianchi » Wed May 12, 2010 10:12 pm

Beckie Woodland was the only female entrant this round so takes first place and 40 pts in the Women's competition with a time of 28.51. :D :D

Sam Camden (yes, and before you all groan - the idea of a Junior League had absolutley nothing to do with me - honest!! )
was the only Junior to enter so takes first place and 40 pts with a time of 28.11.

Clearly we need more women and juniors. So come on all you female Agreeables and Junior Agreeables - join in the fun and give them some competition!!! :D :D

Good work JC.
Just one thing on the vets' results - the convention is that if you beat your standard its shown as plus, not a minus. Don't ask me why it's like that, I always think the logical way is the way you've done it.

spose its the psychological idea that plus is better i.e. faster, minus is worse.

COUPLE OF CHANGES!!!!!

Postby Jon C C on a Bianchi » Thu May 13, 2010 8:18 pm

This is turning into a full time job!!! aaarrggh!!!

Phil Hawkes tells me he's 40 - I don't believe him but there it is  - so he should be in the Veterans Leagues at -1.46 and 7th place with 34 pts. :D

Paul Finch's PB is 25.56 so HC is 5.50 so HC Time is 20.48 = 10th place on HC. :D

Please amend the tables mentally I'm not doing them again this week!!!!

Cheers

Thanks for the work on this Jon.

I thought the vets plus thing was a funny way to show it but then realised it was that if you beat your vets standard then it was the time you did plus x to get to the vets standard that's set.

Great stuff by Terry, an inspiration to us younger lads and lasses in the same way as John Lovell was.

Us younger vets don't stand a chance against Tel. He needs some competition from someone around his age. Can we turn Alan M into a tester?
