'WALLER PAIN' Hill Climb Challenge - Caterham 13th June 2010

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

'WALLER PAIN' Hill Climb Challenge - Caterham 13th June 2010

Postby Scott » Fri May 14, 2010 3:48 pm

You may have already read about The Waller Pain in the press. I am organising this Hill Climb Challenge as part of the month long Caterham Festival series of events.

This will have a similar style to the Catford and Bec Hill climbs but with a slight difference -
This is a just for fun event encouraging all levels of rider and ages...Kids, Fat Dads on Mountain Bikes, Fit Mums, Uni Cyclists, Tandem Riders, Shy Club Riders as well as the usual Competitive Types.

Cycling Weekly have pledged their support in the form of prizes for the winners and Huw Williams may possibly run a Go-Ride event at the same time in the Park at the top of the climb.

I am looking for as much support as possible from fellow agreeables in the form of taking part in the challenge or lining the route and cheering on the challengers.

Regards
Scott

PM me if you wish to help other than riding or cheering on the challengers.
