I'd been looking forward to this as my first 10 on this course of the year but my legs didn't want to get going early on, probably my own fault as I didn't get as long to warm up as I'd have liked thanks to a call of nature (had to wait a while until a canary stayed alive). I pushed on in to the breeze on the out leg and didn't feel as though I was going badly, just not as well as I'd have liked and couldn't get my legs working as I wanted.Around the turn and now had the breeze behind, my legs also woke up and I was picking up speed nicely. I really got in a nice groove on the way back and was flying in places, had a bit of fun overtaking a car on a roundabout as I was faster round the outside than they were in the outside lane but the tighter line on the RAB
. I caught a couple of people on the way but didn't manage to sight my minute man.I finished a bit disappointed with 23:35 as although a decent time I know it wasn't as quick as it should have been if I'd started well.

and beat Lee Turner by a second and Sean Kennedy by 7 .George, Fred, and Rob might be in with a shout at the Team prize as the Bec only had 2 riders out today.
Event was won by Rupert Burbidge from Redhill who's been going very well this season with 20:53.
