Kingston Phoenix Club 10 Holmwood 27 May

Postby George » Thu May 27, 2010 8:41 am

Missed a few of the club tt's this year so was itching to ride the G10/42 to see how I'm going.

Saw in the little yellow book that Kingston Phoenix and Wheelers were on the Holmwood course.

Happy Frank Cubis was there to sort everything out, Top man :D

Good evening and I made sure I started off easy and just concentrated on pacing which left more in the tank for later in the TT.

The riders were starting off @ 30 second intervals which was great with all those people to catch, I started off no. 18 and finished 3rd on the road.

21.55 Second on scratch and course Pb for me
21.05 Angus McAlistaire, ex rower from the NP

Well organised and tea and cakes for everyone in the Spook hill car park afterwards, very agreeable indeed!

Nice Job, George. 8). When you've got a free sun morning you'll have to meet me at RP for an assault on the Richmond Park 3 lap Challenge Finchley, Kingston Wheelers and London Dynamo have got the podium spots. Some average 3rd cat from ACC is 17th
