[quote="Sean Hogan"]Thank Steve has got his good looks back after crash on my last CR for a year or three.

After 20 minutes staring at my own keyboard to see what adjacent letters your possibly beer-befuddled fingers may have sought in vain I still cannot fathom what you are trying to say. Perhaps it's me :?

Thanks to everyone for their support in Moffat heading for Glasgow first thing then on to the Lochs
we are doing more miles than we had anticipated which is not a problem
97,110,113,127,110 going through some stunning country and some really nasty boring drags
and struggled a bit to find a way out of St Helens where everyone we asked seemed clueless
about any escape route
Had a slight incident with a mental sheep yesterday in the Dales and ended up taking a rest
on some stinging nettles otherwise fine
Jon got a bit excited when Bambi popped out of the woods and ran along
for a while.
We met the guys that we met at the start last night and swapped
experiences they are doing 8 days with a support vehicle and it seems that we have done more miles
than them and will be seeing them again in Fort Augustus so they are cramming the last bit

We have only seen two groups going north but about a dozen going south
As far as photos are concerned obviously they will be posted on our return

Thanks again to all those that have supported us
so far

Great guns guys.
Now that you are actually doing it, although no pics to prove as yet, can you remind us of the charity you Are supporting and the link to enable us early doubters to contribute :D

Sounds like a great trip so far, and hopefully will continue all the way to the top of the country. A ride that long I guess you're bound to get a few boring drags but the rest of it must more than make up for it.

Well done lads!
Which way are you going?
The next bit over ranmore common and down into glencoe is stunning.
I hope you have better weather than when Tim and I did it, it was p....g down then!
Good luck & enjoy!

Phil.

I've ridden through it was hot and sunny with very little wind so you can just imagine the descent

One of the best rides ever today! Lochs, mountains, sun and a 5 mile decent. Perfect ride! As made the last six days all worth it. :D

Thanks Alex
finished at 3:30pm yesterday an hour ahead of schedule with a relatively easy 80miles
which we decided to push a bit as the roads are good and only one real climb
being Bannock Brae

Arrived at the finish line and was met by Jons girlfriend and parents who supplied the champagne

Jon will post a full report in a day or so
