A great evening, despite my earlier misgivings...
I got home, unloaded, had something to eat, fell asleep, woke up, checked stopwatch memories and verified the results, which I have forwarded to Jon Camden for the "Value Added" bit (handicap league info) I'm sure he'll post soon
I didn’t have handicaps for all the ACC riders who rode:
Rob Harrison (#11) who took Andy Ellis start slot
Sylvain (#30) reckoned his 10 PB was 22.40
My thanks: to Jon Hemming & Jon Camden for organising, to Marcus (pusher), to Phil Nash (start timekeeper), Joyce (collected numbers and money), Al and friend for marshalling the turn (again), and Alan Malarkey (number spotted which made my timekeeping, oh so much easier) and of course to all who rode. The more riders, the more worthwhile the time & effort, so keep it up!
BTW, tonight was the first time in my 6 years of timekeeping, that the entire field broke evens.
When I went to pick up the Cycle Event warning sign from the start, it had gone, any ideas who has it?
Regards,
Tim
