Loan request - bike trailer

Postby Grahame » Tue Jun 15, 2010 2:07 pm

I'm going on holiday with several members of the extended family for a week near the end of July, and we would like to be able to take the nieces out for short jaunts into the countryside by bike. They are (fairly small) 4 and 2 years old, and probably it would be best for them to sit in a kiddie trailer while I tow them, and Josie rides solo.

I don't have such a trailer, and was hoping that somebody in the club would do so, and be prepared to lend one to me for a week, in return for a decent bottle of red for them, and some sticks of rock for their kids.

I'm after something like this.

Any agreeable offers?

I've got one pretty similar to that Grahame. You're more than welcome to borrow it.

I'm only in Croydon if you wanted to pop over some time and see if it fits the bill? If so, you can take it away with you as I won't be needing it between now and then.
It folds flat and has quick release wheels and holds 2 kids or one baby cleverly bungied, tied and gaffa taped in inside a car seat when they're really little

Sounds perfect.

Can I come over to see it after you get back from gay Paris?

Cheers,

Yeah, that's fine mate.
I'll PM you when i'm back.
I've sorted the above link so you can get an idea of what it looks like.
There is a cover too but we left it off. Watch out for gravel roads though with the cover off or you'll pebbledash the kids
