Gonna miss it this year. Love this event, it's great fun. Last year I bumped into Johnny Green (roadie par excellence with The Clash) spent a few v enjoyable minutes chewing the punk phat. And there's a good sushi restaurant on the circuit too. All good.

Thought i was getting better and had a chance to make it tonight, so went out for a spin to test the legs, which were ok, but an hour after i got home the fever had gone up to 39.4c - don't think i've had it that bad before. So racing out of question

What a brilliant evening of racing. The elite race is something else isn't it!!
The womens elite race was fantastic with a super quick sprint from Hanna Barnes(i think?) to take the win

In the mens race I watched a 4 man break stay away for the whole race for Ian Bibby to take the sprint at breakneck speed
Fantastic atmosphere all evening with a surprise appearance from Mr Cav himself on stage for a quick interview with Rob Elms
