It could be worse. I could be supporting Italy. Or France.

I must be able to see into the future. Whilst too many people were wasting time watching a bunch of footie losers on the telly, some 250 of us were having a blast in the New Forest. In the usual style I was asked to kick things off with a few songs. There had been a vague suggestion that the game should be televised at the camp. Thankfully the resounding answer was NO!

So at approx 7.15pm I started with this, to the tune of Another Brick in the Wall....

We don't need no world cup football
We don't need no ball control
No prima donnas in the bootroom
FIFA leave this field alone

Hey FIFA, leave this field alone

All in all it's just another game of football
All in all it's just a crappy game of football

Well done Snoop a great tune with even better words now, worth buying a copy of that.

More breaking news: To help build team spirit, the England Team went to visit an orphanage in South Africa this morning.
