Halfords Redhill...

...Purveyors of Apollos to the un-biked.

Went in there the other day to buy some bottom butter. "Got any chamois cream?" I asked their chief " bike mechanic", although "bicycle tool" would have suited better. "Dahn dare, mate, wiv the car polish".
On reflection I can't help feeling a handful of T-Cut slapped on my ar$e might have got me a quicker time on the MayFlyer.

haha how funny, they are a funny lot down there but depends on the day who you speak too. I would of imagined that was a part timer to be honest as three of the guys that work there that i have dealt with are not to bad. Better than my expiriences with Evans and finches in reigate, I asked for a cheap 26" alloy wheel for my wifes bike at evans gatwick , they came out with one but it was missing the axle nuts. So i asked if i could have some and the guy said to me, "there on there allready, its those two bolts there (pointing at the cone nuts)" I just shook my head gave it back and went to my local halfrauds instead.
