I rode home from Kingston around 10pm last night, great hour long ride with almost no traffic. At one point a bat flew into my face. Interesting mix of surprise and fluffy softness 
Yay to early morning and late evening rides.

funny you should say that - last night someone described my mtb as a stealth machine....then added I need to get rid of the pannier rack - spoils the effect!

No don't be daft. I only get up that early for TTs, not something as silly as work.
I always like the Christmas to New Year week for that reason, all the lights stay on green without the traffic triggering the change sequences
