Inter-club 10, 6th July

Postby Jon H » Wed Jul 07, 2010 8:51 am

In brief, Norwood Paragon won :( . Their top six riders' total time being in the region of 9 minutes faster than ours. Angus MacAlister led them home with a fantastic time of 21:01 if I remember correctly, and they had quite a few 22 minute rides.

Full results to follow when I've got them off the NP timekeeper.

Wow!! Hat's (pointy or otherwise) off to them. What a result. Of course if I'd been fitter.....bikes not been stolen.....different story...

Well done to NP team - looking forward to seeing the details.

Cheers - Snoop

Well, at the end of the day I think sport was the real winner.

And there's the small matter of taking 50 seconds off my PB - and it felt good.

Thanks to all for organising.

Well done to the Paragon, 5 under 23 mins is very impressive on the Holmwood course, we didn't stand a chance.

Congratuations on the big pb Phil and also Jon Camden going great guns.

Cheers Toks. A sub 25 would have been good but as Andrew said its hard to get a good time on that course on a normal road bike and TT's aren't my thing, that's only the 4th I've ever done. Rode it ok, couldn't really have gone any quicker if I'm honest. Would love to try a TT bike just to see how much difference it makes.

No worries, have a another go on the 20th of July (under 25mins??) if you can make it I'll see you up there. I'd love to go under 24mins but we will see. This will proabably be my 10th TT ever  :D

You should have made Angus start after George Jon, would have been quite a sight for the finish time-keepers
