Why is Cancellara telling the peloton what to do?

Isn't that Lance's job?

Lance is training him up following his announcement to retire from the TDF.

I'm not complaining anyway as it worked out alright for Cav....

It did. And this time, it appears not to be Cav's fault.

Difficult to find out what caused all the crashes. One site was reporting that, when the camera bike went down it spilled oil all over the road. But another eyewitness claimed that the camera bike incident happened after the major crashes. Apparently some riders fell 2 or 3 times in the same short stretch.

Personally, I think it's very irresposible for them to allow their club run to go ahead in such uncertain conditions. What if someone were to sue?

I wondered when someone would mention this...

They didn't do a proper risk assessment - they've had more people come off in one day than we did over the winter

Cancellara is 6'1" and weighs 80kg. Who's going to argue with him?

Bunch of wusses. Cancellara was playing a cheeky one for the Schlecks, can't imagine Thor was too happy at missing out on another hatful of points over Cav who was a load of time off the bunch. perhaps he took another left turn that wasn't there  .

Ride to the conditions.

I'm 6' 4" and presently 93kg so I'd have a pop at him, as long as it wasn't leg wrestling.

Then again I wouldn't even be in the peloton after the neutralised zone...

Yes, I wasn't suggesting that Spartacus is at all terrifying by normal Croydon/South London standards. But in a bare-knuckle one-on-one with anyone else in the peleton I know where my money would be.

And I agree Mr , bunch of wusses. Here's something a bit more hardcore ...

I'll see your Cancellara and raise you a Voigt.

I reckon Nicole Cooke could beat the tar out of any of them.
