Not really - no self-respecting cyclist ever thinks he has enough bikes  .

I don't like Landis. Never have liked Landis. Whatever the truth about Armstrong and others that may come out, I cannot beleive anything Landis says. Landis statements seem to be those of a poisonous git. So there.

I have to agree with Roy.
Landis can say what he wants, he has nothing to lose. Poisonous little cheating scumbag
He's like the kid nobody wants to play with so he punctures their ball.
As for LA, innocent til proven guilty as far as I'm concerned, whatever our resident amateur haematologist may deduce from Landis' poisonous spewings.
Offer still stands, Marco - a cup of tea and a slice of your favourite accompanying sarny or cake should the bee in your bonnet prove to be of substance.

To what standard? The reason I ask is that if it was in this country as I am sure you know there are two:

1) beyond reasonable doubt - criminal

2) on the balance of probability - civil

If the case is heard in an American court, who seem to have lots of different types of rulings, and for instance the ruling were akin to 2. Is that enough? Or would you want a 1?

3) the standard of proof required on an internet forum.

facts...? none seen yet, all speculation and too circumstantial, landis is just throwing his toys out the pram as he has no one to go cycling with anymore, as he's listened to the "drugs don't work anymore" by the verve and is looking for some form of repressed retribution for losing his title, thats my opinion anyway

Capone ordered the Valentines Day Massacre, but got sent down for tax evasion.

I can see Armstrong going to prison for Sporting Fraud, not doping...

On a purely selfish note, it would be the best possible thing that could happen for me. Unless of course he is actually clean of course, which I doubt... reasonably!

The same standard that found the others guilty, Vino, Tyler, Landis, etc, p1$$ in a jar, tests positive; then draw some blood, still positive? Game over.
And Marco gets his tea and cake on me.

Do people think LA is doping for this Tour? It would be a big unecessary risk and yet he seems to be going well. Should be an interesting Tour.

Yadda, yadda. Well, I'm no expert on the tests so I'll accept whatever protocols the UCI deems appropriate. It's their sport and they can ban/test whom they like for what they like. And if they're good enough for the UCI they're good enough for me.
And if I don't like it, I can f*** off and watch something else.

Finally Marco, if you win the tea and cake, I promise you will be able to watch it poured fresh from the urn in the cafe; I won't be handing over any steaming jam jars

I think Fignon's recent book is pretty good, if you like to read it, as it is.

Apparently this is what a good high end program involves

Although not directly linked to THIS tour, I am surprised that nobody has commented on this:
