Thanks to Jon, Tim, and Phil for running last night's 10. Good to see Toks out and doing a very good ride with his DIY "tri-bars", pipe lagging on the tops for his forearms.

Felt quite good and had a good ride apart from having to slow from 26mph to zero and a track stand at Beare Green roundabout for an AA lorry on the way back, aghhh! Looks like it could have cost me four places oh well that's testing.

Lonely rides for some, Mark, Rob, myself, and Dom all started after each other at minute intervals apart and finished with times less than ten seconds between us .

Jason did a cracker on a road bike too.

Thanks to everybody to contributing to a good evening.

I think Toks did a phenomenal ride on more or less a traditional road bike. It took him three quarters of the ride to catch me for a minute and put nearly another minute into me in the last couple of miles. I know I was fading but he must have been going some.

Hey thanks guys, and big thanks to Tim, Phil and Jon. First TT of the year for me As the guys have mentioned I put some polystyrene tubing on the top part of my handle bars just to prevent my forearms slipping and to soak up some of the pain (painfully thin I was described as by a colleague at work ) whilst stuck in my compromised superman tuck The conditions were good and I think I got my pacing just right. There were a few dicey moment avoiding rough patches and a mini pot hole on the road - a hands free ride - no cable for me to hang on to. With a better warm up and tri bars I'm sure I could shave off a bit more time. Well done to everyone else, great turn out.

Thanks to all for organising another great event. I did a minor p.b. though still miles off the pace compared to most. I have a pair of T2+ tri bars that I don't use - if anyone wants to borrow them any time let me know
