Tidy! I wonder, is there another sport in which the amateur's equipment exceeds his or her ability by a wider margin? I reckon on a busy Saturday at Coulsdon there's enough carbon cash splashed across the station car park to buy and run a small country :shock:

[quote="Sean Hogan"]Got to be angling surely.

My mate's just spent £500 on a remote control boat that drops bait in the water. What a waste, he could have bought that tweed Rapha suit for that...

Wear a pair of shoes around a quarter of the price of those rather flashily vulgar Sidis, and how much faster do you think you'd go in a 10-mile TT?
Answers on a postcard. :roll:

[quote="Sean Hogan"]Maybe, but you'd be better looking in the UK as they'll be better deals there.

<Pedant mode>
"there'll be better deals", or "they'll have better deals", not "they'll be better deals". Standards, please. Especially when you are representing the club in the colonies.
