Great to see some of the old faces, especially Joe and CK having fun down Repack Road.

As for the colour of the finished bike, I think I'd have been tempted to go for an Eddy Merckx Molteni team orange all over.

Belleville Rendez-vous tonight at 10.30 on BBC4, a great film if you haven't seen it.

That was a great race Sylv, wish they still did it.

With the colour I like a nice deep blood red, Audi do a really nice dark blood red that would look great on a bike.

Got round to watching some of these tonight (Sky+). One thing that strikes me as unnatural and that's Clare Balding's hair. Initially I had visions of a team of crack hairdressers with cordless dryers leaping on her as soon as the helmet came off, but then Mrs. H. pointed out that she probably films the interview bits separately.

I really wish she wouldn't use those brake levers on the downhills though. I can't watch.
