I asked the same question a little while ago Rob, Pearsons seemed to be a popular choice!

Got my old frame resprayed at Pearsons and it was an excellent job. Limited choice of one colour resprays is about 120 notes, make sure you completely strip the frame first including the gear hanger as they're all different for each frame and a pig to keep track of so safest to keep it at home. You can always take it when you collect the frame and ask them to fit it and the forks and headset if you want.

They don't do them in house but the bloke they sent mine to did a super job, allow a couple of weeks between drop off and collect.

No but it was windy, and I ran out of paint earlier than expected!

It's not bad actually, I know from trying to spray an old frame how difficult it is. Tiny bits of dust get everywhere.

I used to be quite good at spraying plastic model cars, but got a bit overwhelmed by the large area here. Hard to get the spraying action fluid enough to avoid leaving lots of high marks. Looks a bit like a "maillot à pois" when you look close enough

Another option is a place called Argos in Bristol

They're well known and highly regarded in the world of respraying

Yet another option - Mario Vaz in Hither Green.

I think Roberts does his frame resprays right next door to his premises in Croydon - anyone know if I'm right? And if he does other frames...

Re: Mario Vaz

Used to work at Holdsworth. He has done 3 resprays for me - all decent, at about £45 a go. He also put some track ends on an old Pearsons frame for me a few years ago, and resprayed the frame and lug-lined it nicely last year. On the down side, the gold 'Pearson' decals/lettering strip thingies he put on it were old, and bubbled/cracked when applied - he offered to strip and replace for free, but I couldn't be faffed to trek out to Hither Green again, so am putting up with them for now. His workhop is worth a visit just to see the classic frames he has hanging there - Hetchins etc. - being restored( I suppose a recommendation in itself). He keeps some bottom brackets in stock too.

In brief - a very nice bloke. Not a cyclist. Can't fault the paint jobs, but he needs to be told exactly what is required. Certainly the cheapest around.

If you want to have ago yourself I use a Wagner HVLP spray gun for work you are welcome to use. I resprayed my van last year with metallics and it didn't come out too bad. Bit unfortunate somebody wrote the van off two days later but at least it went to the van graveyard shiny and blue.
