Yeah maybe, but that sounds a bit too easy for you sir. Maybe you'll just have 'man up' and duke it out with the rest of the vets :wink:

Neither myself or Huw are available on the day so with regret I've had to cancel the event. There are now lots of clubs having end of season Club RR Champs at Hillingdon so i couldn't even reschedule the booking for November, sorry guys :( :(

Understandably, most people want to compete rather than help out. Offers weren't exactly flooding in so rather than badger people into doing a something they'd rather not do I tried desperately to get other dates but it wasn't possible - clearly others have been following ACC's 'lets have an end of season RR championships' a idea.

I take it no other venue within the area was available in November ?

I must admit I didn't check any others. The obvious choice would be Hog Hill but the full circuit is goona split thing up after a lap - and in my opinion is way too tough for the 17mph gang. However, I've raced with the VETS on the 'flat bit only' which would be fine. Don't hold ya breath (but keep training) I''ve just made a tentative enquiry for the 6th of November - currently awaiting a reply :wink:
