Marshalling Party @ Palace 24 Aug

Addiscombe are agreeably providing the marshals for the final Crystal Palace crit of the season next Tuesday (24 August). It's a great evening out: sunshine (sometimes), bike racing, banter (at least there's banter if we can get enough marshals out to double up ) and you get a fiver for your efforts which you could spend at the pub afterwards if interested in a bit of a 'school night social'.

We need to provide at least 12 marshals so don't be shy now - pop your names down here:

Lethargy permitting I'll race, and try and haul my carcass up the hill over and over and over and over again , as I haven't been to Palace this year. However if on the night you need help then I'll do that and save myself the embarassment of trying to jump straight in to a crit race from a season's testing. I'll be there from shortly after 6 either way.

Dang it, can't offer my services for marshalling as I'm otherwise engaged (hopefully penultimate time, ) but I'd like to come down and join in the social if I may. I should get down in time to shout at the riders

I was thinking we needed a social and had been going to suggest Skinkers at, or rather under, London Bridge station - but maybe we can do that in September
