Peaslake MTB bank Holdiay monday

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Hiya. Me and my Jamie might join (he'll be on two wheels rather than the usual one  !)
Are you parking/meeting on the road between Peaslake village and the bottom of Barry Knows Best??

Hope to make it. Usual meet point is by the bus stop/shelter outside the village stores then folk can park where they like/can and have a cuppa/cheese straw/samosa while waiting for others if they're early.

Cheers, good ride I enjoyed that especially the twisty nipping between trees over the pine needles run (Chrismas pudding?) . Albeit a pretty short one for me as I had to head for home after the burger stop.

Village fair in full swing with the loud overly effusive American dishing up the burgers again. Godstone's fair on the green in full swing as I drove home too, they had a bouncy castle too so I was tempted to stop but resisted.

A great ride today, was the cherry on our weekend cake! Lovely weather, all the fun of the fair and fine company as we cycled Peaslake's trails in search of the elusive tortoise parrot

I'd not been dirty in the woods for a long while  so rode rather wooden and struggled clipping in (and out on one occasion). But had fun nonetheless, particularly the last hill climb, which was free of gravel, roots, rocks, bumps, mud, sand . . .

Jamie is still grinning and seemed to have more fun now he's found a second wheel! Sure he'll be making an appearance again.

Lucy.

Andrew, I was wondering where you had got to.

It was Christmas pudding, the end of which is now rideable down and up the other side. As shown on photo below.

An only 10 mins previously Marco noticed the brake boss(?) had broken off his frame. Zip ties to the rescue again.

I went looking for a new trail at the bottom of this hill, didn't find it so walked back up.

When we got to the bottom of Barry's, someone said let's do it again, so this time we raced down (well, kind off). Well done to Shaun for taking the photo .... s
