Evening MTB ride this Tuesday?

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Evening MTB ride this Tuesday?

Lift n shift from another thread...

does anyone fancy trying this out on Tuesday evening? We could start at the bike shop in Wallington (opposite Sainsbos on Stafford Road). We can head across little woodcote estate and up towards Banstead (almost all off road) then dip down and quickly up again to Epsom and the racecourse. Cross the race course and bimble about over there (I kind of know the way) get a little lost, pop out near Tadworth station, short section on road before diving off and crossing trails and farmland then a nice whizzz down a bridle path in Great Solom's Wood, turn left onto the road then back to Banstead, quiet roads round the back, offroad again briefly before back up over little woodcote estate. Takes about 2.5 hours so we'll almost def need lights for the second half of the ride. Mine are pretty crap but I eat lots of carrots

I can be quite flexible on start time for this week. And if no one fancies it no problem, I'll just have a whizz about on my own.

And of course we could and should try a different route starting from Croydon (I'll need help for that) soon as well. And perhaps one out towards Julian's way. Be nice to build up a little library of local ish mainly off road stuff eh?

So - who fancies giving this a crack next week (Aug 31st)?

Sounds like it could be fun. Might not ride all the way back to Wallington though.

Small question, but what time? I could make it any time from 6:30.

6.30 then? Phil is that time for you to be at Wallyville or picking you up around the racecourse?

6.30 outside wallington cycles is good for me too.

Yep. Might be a bit tight for me to get there (home, food, changed, out) but should do. Sounds like you'll be coming back very close to my house so I'll probably dip out there.

looking like a fantastic evening weather wise - let's say meet at 6.30 - we'll hold on for ten mins and then we're off.

Yeehaw!
