This isnt a topic about Marek its the Eagle 50 TT on the Ugley course.

There was a horrible cross headwind for 25 miles out and what seemed a horrible cross headwind for 25 miles back on an undulating course.

I didnt do any training this week so wasnt expecting too much. I faded after 60 mins and did not enjoy the return journey but finished with reasonable time of 1:59:46 and was 7th overall of only about 30 riders.

Excellent result Paul, sub 2hrs again and some very fast guys in front of you. Sounds nasty conditions and that's a SPOCO event so although I don't know the course I doubt it's the fastest. Being a SPOCO would account for the low field, particularly in Essex as they tend to be lorry chasers a bit over there.
