The President's 10

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Hi Jon

Please add Sam and me to the start list (if you can give me an early start it would help me sort the stuff planned for afterwards). Thanks

Hi All

Yes, we're hoping to have a podium set up and have presentations for the Presidents 10 and the winners,2nd and 3rd in all the time trial leagues (flowers, medals, photos etc). So make sure you're there even if you're not riding.

I can show you a great place to get lost. First roundabout take first turning instead of second, voila! How did I find that out

I might be up for this, will need to check diary at home first. Would be my first ever TT! Do I need to fill in anything? Is there a route map anywhere on the internet?

No need to fill anything in for these club TTs. Route map, hmmm, well it's not really that tricky. You start at the end of Spook Hill in North Holmwood and join the A24 straight away. Then you ride 5 miles(ish) down he A24 going south straight over the first RAB (2nd exit to stay on DC) and when you get to the second RAB you turn (normally will be someone there as well to point you round) and head back where you've just come from, back up the A24. Straight over the RAB along the way again and then keep going staying on the A24 until you pass a chequered flag - it's a nice flying finish. When you pass the flag someone, normally Tim, will be there timing you so as you pass shout out your number. Once finished you carry on to the next RAB and turn right (3rd exit) back in to Spook Hill to meet up with everyone and get you time.

I'll be riding out and leaving CSS about 8.30 but will confirm nearer the time.
