Prince's Trust Sponsored Bike Ride

Hi folks

I've decided to do a sponsored bike ride in aid of The prince's trust. It's also kind of in aid of me too as I hope it will encourage me out on the bike a bit more. I gotta shift the fear somehow eh?

What do you mean I'd forgotten I'd registered for this - nothing of the sort . Well folks the time approacheth. I've tended to chuck money in other folks buckets more of late than actually do a ride or other such stunt. But this seemed like a good idea at the time. If you fancy lending a hand, chucking a few things at me (rotten fruit, money, insults - I'm not fussed), feel free. And if these tin rattling emails really pi55 you off, well hey I didn't force you to read it did I?

Just realised that the first train from wallyville on Sunday gets me there too late so if you see me on the 06.40 from East Croydon give us a wave!

Made it!

Didn't break any records but me and my trusty mtb slogged along into a slightly annoying headwind and finished 45 miles in 3.28.56

Most of the journey felt like a ride through the land of how the other half live, perhaps unsurprisingly.

Feeling OK today, must revisit that thread on how to make a tank go like a bicycle, I'm frustratingly slow.
