Ta Sylv. Been on the blower to my old man, they pass near him tomorrow so he's going to go down and take a look.

Rained in the Wales stage, they were unlucky to get that. Good stage.

Why has Sky changed the blue bits to green?
Is it just to annoy the people who've bought the replica kit?

It has to do with rainforest protection

And to make some cash when they release it as a "special addition" kit with £1 going to the charity from every sale......

Great stage yesterday and loved Constitution Hill at the end. What were Sky thinking though? Surely Gee or Wiggo would be better suited for this tour than Henderson?
Why didn't Brailsford send someone into the HTC break?

Rather than spending all that money on the new green kit, buses, etc, why not put that towards the rain forest protection, surely it will be more than the donation from each top sold

Will Sky ever get their tactics right?

It seems to me that with all the money, staff and "marginal gains" they're lacking actual race tactics.

Surely the TOB should have been a big goal for them to do well in front of home fans?

Have to agree with him. If it's that obvious to everyone, why isn't Brailsford sorting things out.

I can't see that even if Wiggo were to go on the attack, he'd make up the defecit.

It's more fun to get the spray can out though, and you can show everyone how you're doing your bit for "charidy", even if it does cost twice as much as the end result will get for them.

Stupid tactic going for Henderson as he wasn't suited to the route and in a "British" team in the Tour of Britain with 2 prominent British riders including the British National Champion opting to not try and get the win for a British rider is just plain odd.

Another useless Sky performance yesterday. I find myself wanting to scream at the tv for Wiggo to have a go and get in the break or something.
Is it just me or does he seem like a really lazy rider these days?

Reminds me of another outfit, only using yellow [edit: not ACC!] rather than green...

It's called greenwashing - similar to whitewashing...

Nice weather again yesterday - apparently riders are packing up because it's too hard  Meanwhile HTC is showing the world (or at least the UK) why cyclists tend to wear black shorts

It's been quite interesting so far. I expected another sprinters' race with no significant breakaways or anything. (I think Sky expected that too).

It's keeping the boy (gratuitous photo) busy as he's made wallcharts with standings and winners for the stages on both the ToB and the Vuelta. I haven't had time to keep up with both.
