Smashing photos Noel, I wondered who that was lurking in the long grass and dashing across the carriageway. Excellent work, thank you.

Thanks to everyone who helped out at the President's 10 yesterday, a very enjoyable morning. Thanks to Paul for the super podium and Jon for organising the Club TT Series, an excellent idea which has resulted in 20-30 riders in every event and nearly a full field in most. Great work :D .

A bit of fun riding fixed but it wasn't a day for fixed on Holmwood, a bit chilly but more importantly a bit windy. I was geared a bit too low as I couldn't be bothered to change a cog I already had on but it doesn't matter I still enjoyed it even if I was having to spin like a nutter for too much of it.

A nice ride out and home made for a good day and 65 miles. I didn't bother with the afternoon 10 I'd entered as Lucy had a kid's party to go to (so would be a DNS) and no takers for the pub lunch would have meant sitting in the pub on my tod and then slogging up and down in the wind again to ride home solo. Although Marcus B and some others I know were doing the 10 I couldn't keep up with them on the ride home on fixed. Much nicer to have a good morning then take the shine off it just for the sake of it.

Yep great photos Noel!

I wanted to stand in the central reservation too for better light due to the sun's position, but the traffic was just insane and meant I would have likely missed some riders

Yep defiantly agony! But . . . nice pics Noel, still got it after all those years  (I worked for Noel many years ago, when film was grainy and processing chemicals smelt!!)

Had a great day yesterday, and want to thank the great organisation and effort that went into the event. The podium and flowers were a nice touch, and I will look more colour co-ordinated now with the ACC socks! Nice ride back with Andrew after the cafe stop for tea and tasty marmite toast. Amazingly the flowers made it safely home, but must have looked rather comedy strapped to my back.

Lucy.

Yep a great story from timekeepers when they were still warm and pinning on numbers to smiles and podiums :D .
