Does anyone know of a local welder, who can do a small job,

The chain stay just by the quick release has broken, and i am wondering if it is worth/ possible to repair.

Thanks Nigel

Alex at Alpha Welding is your man.
He's in Bensham lane near to the London road end, will weld anything for you and you can have a good yarn with him,
I've been popping in and out his workshop ever since I got on 2 wheels. :D

This is of no use to anyone but still makes me giggle. Few years back I had an ancient Ford Luton box van that always needed welding for the MOT. One year I borrowed my mates welder thinking it cant be that hard just to tack a bit of metal plate over a couple of holes. Several attempts later and with numerous burns on my arms I finally finished and stood back to admire my work. So the next day off I trot to the MOT garage feeling chuffed with myself and my handy work.......2 hours later I went back to pick up my van complete with brand new MOT certificate. How proud was I as I was leaving....only to have my illusions of being a welder shattered by the MOT inspector saying "I don't know who you got to do your welding but its the worst bit of welding I've ever seen in my life"....
