Birthday dinner

Postby Amy » Sun Oct 03, 2010 8:03 pm

On 19th November I'll be another year older and I was thinking of treating myself to a meal in Sangri (South Croydon)* and then maybe a drink in a bar somewhere nearby on the following Saturday (20th) - suggestions?

Would anyone care to join me? Spoken to a few who seem interested...

If enough are interested, I'll book a table a couple of weeks' beforehand.

Or Albert's Table... they do kirs :D

oo sounds nice. Can we start guessing, how old? Are you younger or older than George for example?

It's rude to ask a lady her age

Oh, one of the Sangri votes was me

Well, curry and beer (albeit in the wrong order) has to be a winner.

I think it would be appropriate to do a "birthday miles" ride like Roy's during the day, but probably multiply age by 3. Is 84 miles about right?

Toks, who told you what?

And Marcus, are you being crude and rude again

Thankfully, no dancing anywhere and I wouldn't be up for it - anything other than a pleasant meal and maybe drink after will be met by a side of me you don't want to see

Come on, who voted for Albert's Table? When people say Sangri is a curry house, it's a bit of a generalisation. They do do curries like other places but their main menu is rather different :D
