Folks - I'm very sorry but I've just realised I double booked this Saturday. I've sent a PM to those I knew had said yes to the slow ride to the ballbuster but in case anyone else was planning on coming my apologies but I shan't be there to show the way

Hopefully someone who knows the way might pick this up?

Sorry again

Cheers - Snoop

Either use the cafe at the top of Box Hill, pop to Rykas for a cup of tea with a blob of grease in it, or on the way back swing through Walton-on-the hill.

I was thinking of avoiding the Box Hill cafe - possibly forever. The queue is stupid at the best of times.

Whereabouts is the cafe in Walton? I've ridden through it many times but not spotted a likely looking cafe. Admittedly it's very close to home so cake-sensors are not set to maximum.

Re: The Cafe, if it's the one I went to with Snoop a couple of weeks back it's called Cafe Chocolat and is opposite Sandlands Road (where is comes down the side of Mere Pond to meet Walton St.). MarkyMark can vouch for the Jacket potato; rest of us had cake for elevensies which was very nice.

Roy, I'm doing "part two" only, now, Bonfire :D But I still need lots of encouragement, Nice Mr.G Jrn, has been egging me on so far, still really nervous though, as I have never cycled with him before, nor him me, I don't think he knows what he's letting himself in for, especially after dark :D still, he did say it was a social!! :D :D
