[quote="Keith"]Managed it nearly all the way, but rose to the bait at the Charlwood sign

Like a moth to a flame....

Nice run out with Keith and co in the TG for me this week, good steady pace. Through and off worked well I thought. Nice lead out by Mr Kennet for the sprint which saw just Keith and I battle it out with me getting the honors though Keith was on his winter bike.

Over Box for the return with Paul H, Dan G, Rogan and Keiren lurking at the back. Got unceremoniously dropped going up box but tbh I couldn't be ar*d killing myself to get to the top, I was quite happy dodging runners and oncoming traffic. Good blast back to the 217 where I bid my farewell the gang and pushed on towards home at a hard pace.

Thanks guys. :D

And that's all I could manage! and I got dropped on box hill as well, and on every subsequent hill/minor rise after that. My excuse is that I had done a lot of work in the 19s on the way out and hadn't fuelled properly for the ride, I had to stop off in South Norwood to refuel with a twix (eaten in about 20sec). Dan and Paul did a great job pace setting, I'm afraid I did no turns on the front.
2 weeks ago I did a solo 100mile hour (Brighton and back) ride, this one was only 70miles but I felt much more knackered.

Cheers for the ride guys. TG was organised and coped well with any potential hazards such as the lake in the middle of the road after the golf course.

Still getting the hang of the watch. Remembering to switch the timer on and off is proving difficult   More useful for running purposes of course. :D

[quote="Iliya"]It was good (as always) riding with your group Jon!

Unfortunately I won't make CR for the next two weeks but looking forward to my next ride. I ordered all spare parts Mr Boardman needs so hopefully no punctures or defects next time (touch wood).

Hi Iliya

Did you puncture on Saturday? who's Mr Boardman? I'm a bit confused - as always!!
