Last week we were at home versus the Bec CC, and won comfortably. Last night, we were away versus the Bec CC and lost the match on the final game. Home, away, makes no difference as both teams play at the same venue, Lindfield Road Social Club
.The level of banter and general fun-ness seems to have cranked up another notch lately and the games are all the better for it. So if you fancy throwing a few darts, enjoying a beer or two (or not as the case may be) and supporting your club here are the next couple of fixture dates:
Tuesday 9th November, ACC home versus Norwood Paragon. If you've always wanted a crack at beating your highly competitive rivals but like me you don't have anywhere near what it takes on a bike, well come along and try and nail that victory another way.
Tuesday 16th November, ACC away to East Surrey Roads (at the butter churn pub near Carshalton).
Tuesday 23rd November or Thursday 25th is the first round of the Belle Vue Cup and we need a team of eight players for this so any help would be really appreciated. Once the draw is made I can confirm the date but it will be either Tuesday at Lindfield or 25th in Caterham on the Hill.
