Darts - Results and Upcoming Fixtures

Postby Snoop Doug » Wed Nov 03, 2010 9:18 am

Hi folks - sorry not posted anything on this most wonderful of social pursuits for a while...

Last week we were at home versus the Bec CC, and won comfortably. Last night, we were away versus the Bec CC and lost the match on the final game. Home, away, makes no difference as both teams play at the same venue, Lindfield Road Social Club :D .

The level of banter and general fun-ness seems to have cranked up another notch lately and the games are all the better for it. So if you fancy throwing a few darts, enjoying a beer or two (or not as the case may be) and supporting your club here are the next couple of fixture dates:

Tuesday 9th November, ACC home versus Norwood Paragon. If you've always wanted a crack at beating your highly competitive rivals but like me you don't have anywhere near what it takes on a bike, well come along and try and nail that victory another way.

Tuesday 16th November, ACC away to East Surrey Roads (at the butter churn pub near Carshalton).

Tuesday 23rd November or Thursday 25th is the first round of the Belle Vue Cup and we need a team of eight players for this so any help would be really appreciated. Once the draw is made I can confirm the date but it will be either Tuesday at Lindfield or 25th in Caterham on the Hill.

Hope to see a few new faces along - it's a good evening out and a little bit of competition for places would be no bad thing. Any questions or if you want to get involved just post away on here and I'll do my best to answer them.

Cheers - Snoop

Howdy y'all

Well I couldn't hit the proverbial last night but with others in good form (John won his singles with a mere nine darts) we comfortably beat the East Surrey on our home turf.

Guru P provided a mid match banquet of epic proportions, huzzah!

We had good fun last night, which always seems to happen regardless of the result. Week off next week - will find out the next fixture and post it here.

Always keen to have some new faces come along and have a chuck and enjoy a beer and a laugh. We are team ACC - so this is (almost kinda) about cycling...ish  Whatever it is very enjoyable - if you want to come along and have a go you will be made very welcome. We only start to take the pi55 out of your game on week 2!

Hi all - quick update.

Team ACC are top of the darts league at the moment. Next two fixtures are:

11th Jan home (Lindfield Road Social Club) to East Surrey Roads
18th Jan home to Norwood Paragon

If anyone fancies a game or wants to come along and support all are very welcome. It's usually good for a few laughs and the odd flukey dart or two.

Cheers - Snoop
