Greetings From Sydney, Australia

Greeting from Sydney, Australia. I have been here for nearly 6 weeks and still I have not had my backside on a saddle. Mainly do to work, using most weekends to try and find a house etc etc. Oh and the most important one is that my bikes only arrived this week, but I wont see them until they get delivered to our house which we only move into on the 18th Dec. Cant wait to get out on the road and start to discover this beautiful place. I have got a club to join thanks to Aussie Robyn's contacts here and I have already met a few and they seem like an agreeable bunch.

Anyway walking around Manly today and find this small littel bike shop and start speaking to the owner after I spot the below bike in his shop window and it turns out he is mates with Cadel and used to ride with him. I was tempted to ask if he really is a moody bugger

Then I'm walking along the beach taking in the views of the swimmers, surfers and everyone enjoying the sun when this bloke turns up with his son for a surf. Now Ive seen panniers, bread baskets, pully kids things and stuff like that, but I've never seen a bike surf board carrier.

Greetings from murky England, like riding in a cloud today Rob so I think you may be out-doing us with the weather :D .

Glad to here you're settling although it sounds like Christmas will be a hectic affair moving in 7 days before.

[quote="Sean Hogan"] remember we have a duty to cheer up those moody wet and depressed buggers back home.

Sean
