Reminder: Tuesday Chaingang

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Well, I should be out next time unless it's lashing it down - seems I've got no excuses (barring something on the ultrasound scan...)

Perhaps you lot could ease up for the end of year and tow me the entire way round  before getting the eyeballs out in the New Year

It was a good ride this Tue. the gang was a small one this time, and as Antony mentioned Phil had to drop out and 5 of us ended up.

Thanks guys for waiting up for me and Iliya, next time we will be stronger ;)...hopefully, and you wont have to wait as long :-P

I'm gonna try and pull my finger out and get back on this. Been lazy and when it's cold outside it's much easier to make a cup of tea and eat some biscuits.

If my bike's fixed, it's not too cold and the biscuit tin's empty next Tuesday, I may come out.

Good ride and it was fun although I was hanging on for dear life at times. I shall be back next week with a new cassette and hopefully faster.

I'm not ready to re-join yet.

Sinus operation seems to have gone ok, but the recovery isn't over yet.

It was bloody painful and I'm currently awash with nose drops and steroids, so you really wouldn't want to be riding right behind me in a chain gang!

I don't mind the cold - it's the getting warm enough to get in the shower. I was rushed on Saturday and ended up in agony and nearly scratched myself raw

Don't think I'm fast enough even for the B gang so will have to give this a rest until I've got a few more miles and a bit more strength under my belt :(

I could be persuaded to be there tonight if there are there any B group takers and it remains just above freezing :!:

It was me, Dan, and Andy. We waited for a couple of mins for Sylv but he never showed up, so the three of us headed to Gatwick !
It was a good steady ride the first half an hour and we kept it together, until we got to Horley road I think, I was leading and a fire brigade was sirening behind us. So I slowed down slightly and looked behind me to check on the guys and as I turned my head back I noticed a huge pothole on the side of the road and did not have time to shout it out. Both Dan and Andy went in the pot whole, I heard a bag and hoped that nobody wiped out. Furtunately nobody did, but Dan got 2 punctures and Andy got one on the rear wheel. At least nobody got hurt and we all participated in getting the punctures replaced on the side of the road in the icy cold night ! We got all that done and we all headed back home ! It was a speedy return home as Dan was hammering it ! :-P

Sorry agian guys, and next time we will have to becareful from that huge pothole!
