...got their MTB ready for tomorrow's commute?

Looking at the temperature for the next few days not sure I fancy skinny tyres. It's hard work on a heavy MTB with knobby tyres, looks like the winter training starts then .

Actually, my commuting bike is still at work - will see if it looks safe enough in the evening to ride back on it. Hope it stays dry.

I cycled in this morning on skinny tyres, the roads were fine, the fun starts tomorrow so the weatherman says

The old Unicycle for me! As ever, equipped with it's huge 2.4" tyre.

But you're mad Jamie .

Mainly dry roads but some slippy bits under trees nearer home. With it being subzero and a bit more semi-rural nearer home the MTB felt the safer choice. Hard work though as it's heavy and has 2.1 knobbly tyres, at 55psi for the road. Took 10 minutes longer to get in.

I was slightly nervey on my 7 minute commute this morning. Was worried about it being slippy underfoot but opted to stay with the semi-slick 100mm work shoes and fortunately, I made it in unscathed.
Upgraded to the full winter coat and scarf combo though. Slightly clammy by the time I arrived at work.

MTB again today, definately needed it this morning through the snow, ice, slush, blizzard. Quite a lot going on weatherwise on the way in this morning.

Tried to drive to Richmond from Caterham this morning, gave up and turned back after 2 hours and not even half way there.
Should have cycled

Feet and Bicycle are now my mode of transport.
